Angela Anderson Johnson

I have been a resident in ward 5 for over 7 years. I am a mother to two children attending school in our community, and stepmother to one attending university. I am selfless and devoted to helping people. I am an entrepreneur and business owner through most of my life, serving neighbors and businesses alike. I have continued to build strong community connections through volunteer initiatives helping the unhoused communities with food and supplies, dedicating my time for various charities, and advocating for all children’s rights in our school system.

I might be a fresh face, but I have something to offer. I promise I will work tirelessly to have your voices heard. I will represent each of you and advocate for your needs in our school division. I will review safe transport for our children to get to and from school. I will make sure that all children are treated equally and equitably no matter their situation.

My job as your school trustee is to bring the best policies forward. In me you have a partner that will do just that. Our children need our support, and our school boards needs people like us, the community we live in. The people that we represent. The faces you see on the street everyday.

We need change in our systems.
We need new ideas.
We need accountability.
